Bir Gün Bir Yerlerde
Bir Gün Bir Yerlerde is a work that continually renews itself through the deformation of organic forms and the gradual fading of figures, evolving through the constant change brought about by biomaterials. In this way, its imagery is sustained through transformation. In the piece, Sür portrays the human being’s transience and mutability in contrast to nature, turning the human body into a visual medium that reflects its place and fragility within nature’s cyclical rhythm.
The fragmented parts in each figure, seemingly belonging to neighboring forms, prompt reflection on the nature of modern relationships. At the same time, the intriguing use of lighting subtly references the influence of technology on the body. With its multilayered visuality and subtext, the work offers the viewer a world open to exploration, experience, and interpretation
